Privacy policy

Last updated 20 October 2026

The short version.

  • If you create an account, we keep the email address you sign in with, and your name if you choose to add one.
  • We use it to run your account and nothing else. We do not sell it, and we show no advertising.
  • You can delete your account at any time, and your account data goes with it.

Who is responsible

compounders.ai is responsible for the data described here. For anything about your data, write to privacy@compounders.ai.

What we keep

  • Your account. Your email address, your first and last name if you add them, and when you signed up and last signed in. If you sign in with a password, it is stored by our sign-in provider in hashed form; we never see it.
  • If you sign in with Google. Google shares your name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier with us, and nothing else. We do not get access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, files or any other Google data.
  • Your plan. If your account is given a paid or complimentary plan, a record of that plan linked to your account identifier.
  • Security checks. When you sign up or sign in, our sign-in provider checks the request for automated abuse. That check reads signals from your browser and device, and your IP address and browser details are kept with your sign-in sessions.
  • Server logs. The services that host the website and the database log each request, including the IP address and browser, to run and protect the service.
  • Page-view counts. The home page counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookie and does not identify you.
  • Kept in your browser only. The screener remembers your watchlist, saved views, recently viewed companies, display settings and light or dark theme in your browser's local storage. That stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Cookies

When you sign in, our sign-in provider sets cookies on compounders.ai that keep you signed in. They are needed for the account to work. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.

What we use it for

  • To create your account, sign you in and keep you signed in.
  • To decide which years and features your plan opens.
  • To send you emails about your account, such as sign-in and verification codes. We send no marketing email unless you have separately asked for it.
  • To keep the service secure and to stop abuse.

The legal bases are performing our agreement with you (running the account you asked for) and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

Information from Google

If you sign in with Google, we use the information Google shares (your name, email address, profile picture and account identifier) only to create your account and sign you in. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to anyone except the service providers listed below that run the account for us, and no person reads it except where you ask us for help, where security requires it, or where the law does. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Company executives named in filings

For each company, the terminal names its chief executive in each period, as the company's own annual reports and filings name them, in the US and in Europe. We keep only the name and title as printed, the dates of office at the precision printed, and a citation to each filing. We keep no age, shareholding, pay or biography, even where a filing prints one. If you are named and think a record is wrong, write to the address above.

Who processes it for us

  • Clerk runs sign-in and holds your account record (United States).
  • Supabase hosts our database, including any plan record linked to your account (United States).
  • Vercel hosts the website and counts page views.
  • Google serves the fonts the screener uses (your browser fetches them from Google, which sees your IP address), and runs Google sign-in if you choose it.
  • Our email provider holds any email you send us.

Because these providers are based in the United States, your data is processed there, under each provider's data processing terms. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

We do not take payments yet. Before paid plans start, this policy will say which payment provider processes payments.

How long we keep it

Your account data is kept until you delete your account. When you do, your account record is deleted by our sign-in provider and any plan record linked to it is deleted from our database. Server logs and our providers' backups expire on their own schedules.

Your rights

You can delete your account yourself: sign in, open the account menu, choose Manage account and then Delete account. You can also ask us, at the address above, for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. We will reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Children

compounders.ai is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly keep data about them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
